Member Transport

Ravenshead, Blidworth and Rainworth

Members are collected from their homes by a Ravenshead Community Transport minibus.  Our volunteer escorts accompany members on the bus to and from their homes. The buses have wheelchair access for those members who need it. There is a small charge for the bus.  The bus is booked through the Club.  Please talk to a member of staff to arrange transport


Ashfield and Mansfield

Residents can directly access the local community transport scheme provided by “Our Centre” in Kirkby in Ashfield.  This is a service provided by volunteer drivers using their own vehicles, for people in the community who have difficultly accessing, or are unble to use, public transport.

Newark and Sherwood

You can use the Door2Door Service. The service is available to anyone over 60 or with a disability, either permanently or temporarily living in the Newark and Sherwood District.  The service is provided by volunteer drivers who have their own cars and must provide detailed information and undergo checks.

Gedling Voluntary Transport Scheme

Provides safe, affordable and reliable journeys for people who find it difficult to use public transport or taxis, don’t drive and don’t have access to a car.  You need to be able to get in and out of a car unaided or bring a helper with you.  Driver can take light foldable wheelchairs by prior arrangement.

Other areas

Members who live in other areas of Nottinghamshire are very welcome to attend the club, however, at this time we are unable to offer transport.  They must therefore make their own transport arrangements.
